YOU GUYS.

I just had the BEST DAY EVER yesterday.

My bestest most lovely and amazing babe *AzraelEvangeline TOTALLY surprised me when the work day was almost done ... with a really early ((and I do mean REALLY - like, two months early almost)) birthday present!

We had to drive an hour-n-a-half to the next city to pick it up ... but god it was so worth it.

SHE GAVE ME A FERRET.

I've only been wanting one for YEARS - and seriously been planning to get one for about half a year now. However I didn't think it'd be for a while yet, even though I'd been researching and figuring out how to care for 'em ... just cos they're a little expensive and I wanted the apartment perfect for 'em.

We went to the pet shop ((a really good, clean, reliable chain of stores)) that just got a couple ferret kits in ... and I picked out the perfect one.

A tiny sable girl who's just the SWEETEST baby in the world.

God she's gorgeous. And so smart! And not afraid of the cats at all - who've been surprisingly very well-behaved around her.

We finally decided to name her Oline - yeah, like my mafia queen. XD

Az, you are my wondergirl. T__T You've no idea how happy you've made me. <333 I fucking love you.

I had a ferret a while back, yours reminded me of him. > w <

I had to give him away though because I had a hard time caring for him since I had absolutely no help, that and I had to move.

Aww, lucky. I've always wanted a ferret, but my family has always had a ton of cats. Plus, ferrets are kind of expensive, when you can get a sweet homeless cat for free. :3

Yeah ... there ARE ferret shelters, just like regular SPCAs ... but nothing like that around here. >: Else I woulda gotten one from there. Ah well ... at least now she has a house to roam around and a cage all to herself instead of having to share it with two other ferrets. O:
